You will collaborate closely with project teams to deliver exceptional solutions efficiently and effectively.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the Senior MEP Engineer in managing the upkeep of low current systems, including building management systems (BAS), SCADA systems, fire alarm systems, DDC panel controllers, variable frequency drives (VFD) for motor controls, and other low current devices and sensors, ensuring compliance with established KPIs and industry standards.Oversee the execution and monitoring of preventive, corrective, and reactive maintenance activities for low current systems according to manufacturer guidelines and approved maintenance plans.Lead and mentor service provider teams to guarantee high-quality, safe, and timely maintenance delivery while adhering to safety regulations and site-specific procedures.Contribute to the development and enhancement of low current maintenance programs, including the evaluation of maintenance checklists and task frequencies.Conduct regular inspections and audits of low current systems to confirm operational effectiveness, integration, and compliance with Quality Assurance and Quality Control standards.Assess the competency and performance of service provider staff involved in low current system maintenance, identifying skill gaps and recommending training or upskilling to the Senior MEP Engineer.Monitor spare parts usage and component availability, facilitating inventory forecasting and planning for critical devices and modules (e.g., sensors, control panels, interfaces, detectors).Participate in asset condition assessments for low current systems and support the Senior MEP Engineer in formulating upgrade and replacement strategies aligned with lifecycle planning and technological advancements.Assist in the preparation and review of technical documentation, including system reports, testing logs, work completion certificates, commissioning checklists, and interface diagrams.Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis for faults or failures in low current systems, ensuring prompt and effective solutions.Engage in testing, commissioning, and handover processes for new low current installations; document and track the resolution of EIL items.Promote and uphold safety and data integrity practices concerning all low current systems; assist with internal and external HSE and technical audits with relevant documentation and actions.
