The ideal candidate will take charge of managing the complete lifecycle of OFCI (Owner Furnished, Contractor Installed) equipment packages, overseeing everything from procurement to installation and commissioning. This role entails close coordination with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure that all equipment is delivered punctually, within budget, and in accordance with project specifications. Additionally, the position requires managing logistics, monitoring quality, implementing risk mitigation strategies, and ensuring compliance with all necessary safety and technical standards.Key Responsibilities:Serve as the primary technical and process lead for all OFCI equipment packages, acting as the main liaison between client-appointed vendors and project stakeholders.Oversee the OFCI team to guarantee that all tasks are efficiently engineered, coordinated, and executed in full alignment with project specifications, schedules, and quality standards.Manage the complete lifecycle of OFCI packages—from procurement through delivery, installation, and commissioning—ensuring seamless integration with the overall construction program.Work in close collaboration with engineering, planning, and commissioning teams to foster alignment and support smooth project delivery.Lead regular coordination meetings with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to assess progress, address challenges, and maintain open lines of communication.Track and report on OFCI progress, identifying potential risks and implementing proactive mitigation strategies.Provide technical oversight and guidance to prevent or resolve any contractual and operational disputes.Ensure that all vendor-supplied equipment meets the required technical, safety, and quality standards before installation.Maintain strict adherence to client confidentiality, data security, and project compliance requirements at all times.Requirements:A relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline.A minimum of 7 years of experience with an M&E contractor, preferably on mission-critical or large-scale projects.A proven track record in leading complex projects from initial design through to commissioning.Strong leadership, problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making skills.Proficiency in engineering systems software and project management tools, with the capability to drive efficient delivery and reporting.
