Role overview This position focuses on quality assurance for software products in lending and credit infrastructure. The Senior QA Automation Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement effective testing processes. The role emphasizes automation, analytical thinking, and attention to detail to ensure software meets high quality standards. What you will do Work with the Test Lead and other teams to define testing requirements, identify test scenarios, and set priorities based on business needs and project timelines. Lead the creation and execution of test plans, cases, and scripts for lending and credit infrastructure projects. Set up and maintain automated testing frameworks and tools for API testing, ensuring scalability and maintainability. Review code and mentor junior team members, promoting best practices in automation and code quality. Analyze test results, spot trends, and recommend improvements to boost software reliability and quality. Apply expertise in API automation testing using tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or similar platforms. Design and implement automation frameworks for API testing, using best practices in architecture and code reusability. Utilize deep knowledge of RESTful and SOAP APIs, including contract testing, schema validation, and asynchronous messaging. Demonstrate strong programming skills in Python, Java, or JavaScript, and extend automation frameworks as needed. Increase test automation coverage to reduce manual testing and improve test efficiency. Help reduce escaped defects and improve overall software quality.
