The AJM Service (Accompagnement Jeunes Majeurs) in Marseille, with a capacity of 75 placements, supports young individuals transitioning from MECS, primarily unaccompanied minors (MNA), who are still under the protection of Child Welfare. The program encompasses two main components: providing accommodation in a studio and offering guidance through a multidisciplinary team of 9 professionals (social workers, lawyers, career advisors, and house managers). Key focus areas include promoting autonomy, stabilizing professional integration, teaching administrative processes, budget management, and housing search.
Responsibilities:
Assess the social circumstances of beneficiaries.
Facilitate access to rights.
Assist in budget management.
Provide enhanced support to young mothers and their children.
Identify housing solutions and provide support during the transition out of the system.
Collaborate on institutional interviews related to the youth (pre-admission, admission, personalized projects).
Encourage connections with common law networks and/or partners and follow up as necessary.
Methods of intervention: on-site interviews, home visits, external support, and group facilitation.
Contract Details:
Permanent full-time contract.
Working hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM or 1:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
Salary according to Convention 66, diploma, and experience.
