Role Purpose
As the AI Project Manager, you will spearhead and oversee AI projects, ensuring they navigate the entire Project Management Lifecycle. Your role involves maintaining alignment with our organizational PMO governance, fulfilling contractual obligations, and adhering to the CPMAI™ analytics lifecycle phases to drive measurable business success.
Key Responsibilities
Initiation & Alignment
- Create and uphold the Project Charter, guaranteeing it aligns with business objectives and value realization.
- Engage key stakeholders to clarify expectations and communication requirements.
Planning
- Develop and establish the Integrated Project Management Plan, covering scope, schedule, cost, quality, resources, risks, communication, and procurement.
- Outline the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), milestones, dependencies, and acceptance criteria.
- Coordinate resource allocation with technical leads and functional managers.
- Ensure coherence between delivery plans, payment milestones, and contractual terms.
Execution
- Direct project activities in accordance with the approved project plan and governance structure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (AI, data, platform, infrastructure) to facilitate CPMAI™ phases including business understanding, data comprehension, modeling, deployment, and monitoring.
- Act as the central point of integration between PMO, technical teams, vendors, and clients.
Monitoring & Controlling
- Evaluate project performance against established scope, schedule, and cost metrics using defined KPIs.
- Proactively identify, assess, and manage risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies (RAID).
- Manage scope alterations through formal Change Control processes, assessing their impact on time, cost, and value.
- Provide accurate and timely project status reports and forecasts for stakeholders.
Closure & Value Realization
- Ensure formal project closure, including deliverable acceptance, documentation transfer, and lessons learned.
- Support tracking of value realization and post-delivery performance monitoring as necessary.
- Complete and archive all contractual and governance documents (e.g., CoCs, invoices, approvals).
