Key Responsibilities
- Ensure seamless preparation for daily arrivals by assigning rooms and addressing any special requests from guests.
- Check-In and Check-Out:
- Facilitate the registration and processing of check-ins for all guests, providing an exceptional experience.
- Update guest contact information (email, phone, country code) in the system post check-in.
- Monitor the “Neopost” status for guests with unpaid deposits, ensuring accounts are settled in full.
- Cashiering Responsibilities:
- Manage cashiering functions, including currency exchange and nightly audit duties.
- Process account settlements upon guest departures.
- Uphold high standards in check-in and check-out operations in line with Leading Quality Assurance (LQA) standards.
- Deliver friendly and courteous service, promptly addressing all guest inquiries and requests.
- Safeguard guest privacy and confidentiality by refraining from disclosing personal information.
- Manage walk-in reservations and accommodate phone reservations outside of standard operational hours.
- Update the Shomoos government system with guest identification and passport details.
- Resolve guest complaints and coordinate with relevant departments for swift follow-up actions.
- Issue guest room key cards, ensuring strict security control.
- Review the logbook for outstanding tasks and special assignments for the day.
- Compile daily reception reports and maintain organized documentation.
- Collaborate with the Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Rooms Division Manager regarding VIPs and hotel events.
- Participate in briefings, take notes, and ensure follow-up on action items.
- Upselling:
- Identify and promote upselling opportunities to enhance guest experiences and boost revenue.
- Assist at the Information counter, Foreign Exchange, Night Audit, and Business Center as required.
- Maintain impeccable grooming and professionalism at all times.
- Perform additional reasonable tasks as directed by management.
