Job Summary:
As a Loan Processor at Yellowstone, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service to our PMR branch offices. Your primary responsibility will be to create timely, accurate, and comprehensive closing documents while ensuring that all executed documentation received from closing agents meets the investor guidelines. Additionally, you will prepare the necessary paperwork to facilitate the wiring of funds to close loans. You will also engage with closing agents, investors, warehouse banks, and internal departments to uphold our standard of quality service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Document and register loans in the company logbook to obtain loan number assignments.
Review incoming files for completeness of documentation essential for loan approval submission.
Submit all eligible files through DU/LP for automated approval prior to forwarding to the selected lender, noting conditions and providing details to the Loan Officer.
Package and submit complete files to lenders for final approval and coordinate with Loan Officers to resolve any outstanding requirements for loan closure.
Conduct weekly meetings with Loan Officers to review their file pipeline and establish priority tasks.
Request FHA Case numbers via FHA Connection and order Flood Certs through SMI using our software.
Order loan documents in the absence of the Loan Officer.
Develop and update procedures related to the Loan Processor role.
Assist with other projects as assigned.
