Role Overview: Electrical Engineer
In this role, you will be responsible for designing the essential electronic components that power, maneuver, and sense the environment for our robots. Your work will encompass high-efficiency power systems (batteries, chargers, distribution), BLDC motor control electronics, and compute and multi-camera hardware.
Qualifications
We are looking for exceptionally skilled individuals with expertise in one or more of the following areas:
Power Systems: Design and implementation of Li-ion battery packs, BMS/fuel gauging, AC-DC/DC-DC conversion, power distribution, EMI/EMC considerations, and charger design.
Motor Control: Development of BLDC controllers, MOSFETs/gate drivers, current sensing, FOC systems, protection circuits, and high-frequency layout.
Compute & Vision: Experience with Jetson-class carrier boards, MIPI/GMSL camera systems, high-speed interfaces (PCIe, USB, CAN, etc.), and multi-camera synchronization.
Additionally, candidates should possess:
Comprehensive PCB design skills (schematic, layout, bring-up, validation).
Strong debugging abilities and hands-on experience with real hardware under load.
