About the Role
As a Telecom Associate at TEECOM, you will play a vital role as an emerging mid-level consultant. Your responsibilities will include managing discipline-specific deliverables, collaborating closely with clients and design partners, executing small projects independently, and assisting in larger projects under the guidance of experienced engineers. This role marks your transition from primarily production-focused tasks to a position where you will apply your judgment, manage defined scopes, and ensure compliance with TEECOM's standards and documentation practices.
You will work alongside your Mentor, senior engineers, and Project Leads to create accurate and coordinated designs while fostering independence through effective documentation practices and consistent follow-through. Your responsibilities will encompass designing systems, preparing drawings, specifications, calculations, and generating coordinated deliverables, either autonomously or in collaboration with the production team.
On the client-facing side, you will initiate the development of strong client relationships, establishing trust through transparent communication, reliable follow-through, and thoughtful coordination. Your participation in project meetings, programming sessions, coordination discussions, and construction support will be crucial in maintaining alignment with clients, contractors, manufacturers, and design partners.
Internally, you will contribute your insights for discipline scope in pursuit efforts, prepare preliminary fee assumptions, and aid in proposal coordination. You will enhance team practices by refining documentation, developing tools, and sharing valuable lessons learned, all while progressing through training journeys and structured mentorship.
