Role Responsibilities:
As a Firmware Engineer Intern, you will have the opportunity to design and implement new embedded systems while optimizing existing ones. Your duties will include:
- Creating and enhancing embedded software for robotic surgical applications.
- Refining our codebase and deprecating outdated embedded software when necessary.
- Conducting thorough testing and validation of software to ensure safety and reliability.
- Participating in peer code reviews to maintain a high quality of work.
- Developing drivers and applications to enhance our robotics capabilities.
- Defining hardware and software requirements as we progress towards future hardware platforms.
- Collaborating with team members to share insights and updates on your work.
