Role overview

This freelance position combines electrical engineering expertise with Python programming skills. Contributors work on assignments that mirror real-world engineering workflows and research challenges. Projects focus on designing and verifying computational problems that require advanced calculations and simulations.

  • Create engineering problems that involve system design, optimization, and analysis
  • Develop scenarios requiring numerical methods or iterative solutions using Python
  • Base assignments on practical engineering tasks or current research topics
  • Verify solutions in Python, applying standard engineering libraries
  • Document problem statements and provide clear, accurate answers

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline
  • Proficiency in Python for numerical validation; familiarity with MATLAB, R, C, SQL, Numpy, Pandas, SciPy, or domain-specific libraries is a plus
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in applied, research, or educational contexts
  • Understanding of engineering constraints and practical approximations
  • Strong English writing skills at C1 level or higher
  • Certifications such as CMME, SAS, or CAP, and experience with international or applied projects are advantageous
