Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain software for our high-fidelity simulation platform. Implement and enhance software- and hardware-in-the-loop simulations to validate satellite software and flight algorithms. Drive the acceleration of software development through infrastructure enhancements. Develop and refine Monte Carlo simulation tools to assess system performance under varied conditions. Integrate physics-based models into simulations. Create analysis and visualization tools to deliver insights into our systems. Support GNC operations for our satellite fleet, including on-console and on-call duties. Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new team members for our rapidly expanding team. QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.2-5+ years of experience in software development or creating simulations of complex physical systems. Proficient in Python or other high-level object-oriented programming languages with 2-5+ years of experience. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams on large-scale software projects.

Position Overview

As a Simulation Software Engineer within our Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) team, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and testing high-fidelity spacecraft simulations that validate the software controlling our satellites in orbit.

In this position, you will enhance our core simulation infrastructure and work collaboratively with cross-functional engineering teams to model new systems and introduce exciting features into the simulator.
