dyneits is hiring a Guidewire Business Analyst / Project Manager for a remote contract role based in the USA. This position is open for an initial 6+ month term, with the possibility of extension. There are two openings available.
Role overview
This hybrid role centers on business analysis (about 75% of responsibilities) with additional project management duties (about 25%). The focus is on bridging business requirements with technical solutions for Guidewire implementations in the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance sector. The position works closely with Professional Services teams to ensure projects run smoothly from start to finish.
Key responsibilities
- Business Analysis (75%)
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for Guidewire projects.
- Work with stakeholders to translate needs into system solutions.
- Create user stories, functional specifications, and process workflows.
- Support implementation of Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and business teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including validation, tracking defects, and resolving issues.
- Ensure system functionality aligns with business goals.
- Project Management / Coordination (25%)
- Assist with project planning, scheduling, and execution for Guidewire initiatives.
- Track deliverables, timelines, and dependencies across workstreams.
- Facilitate communication among cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Provide regular project status updates, highlight risks, and suggest mitigation strategies.
- Help keep project activities aligned with defined scope, timelines, and objectives.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst on Guidewire projects.
- Direct experience with Guidewire products and portfolio in a Professional Services setting.
- Hands-on expertise with at least one of the following:
- Guidewire PolicyCenter
- Guidewire BillingCenter
- Guidewire ClaimCenter
- Strong understanding of the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain.
- Background in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and managing the project lifecycle.
This contract position is fully remote within the USA. Candidates with a solid Guidewire background and experience in P&C insurance will find this role aligns well with their expertise.
