tgs is looking for a Human Resources Administrator to join the HR team in Barcelona, Catalunya. This position focuses on supporting local HR operations for Spain, working closely with colleagues from a range of backgrounds. The role offers hands-on exposure to many aspects of HR in a growing, well-regarded company.
Main Responsibilities
- Support daily HR operations and handle general office administration, such as organizing files and preparing correspondence.
- Manage onboarding for new hires and re-hires, including preparing employment contracts and necessary documentation.
- Conduct orientation sessions for new employees.
- Respond to basic recruitment questions about employment terms, salary structures, and work eligibility.
- Assist new hires with onboarding and employment condition questions.
- Oversee the exit process for departing staff, ensuring paperwork is complete and payroll is updated.
- Address queries about absences and leaves, manage attendance records, and coordinate with payroll.
- Handle contract renewals and modifications as needed.
- Learn and help with procedures for maternity, parental, and paternity leave.
- Keep HRIS and other databases current, and generate reports when needed.
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions received through the HR inbox.
- Assist with various HR projects and initiatives as they arise.
