The Human Resources Generalist plays a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of the Human Resources department. This position involves managing all aspects of Human Resources functions throughout the employee life cycle, with greater autonomy and efficiency than that of the HR Administrator. Depending on the location, the Human Resources Generalist may also take charge of benefits administration and payroll. The role is critical in ensuring adherence to local laws and internal policies and procedures while managing more intricate processes and participating in employee relations cases. Furthermore, the Generalist is expected to recommend enhancements to internal processes and manage multiple locations effectively.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee a wide array of activities, from transactional tasks to supporting large-scale projects across various locations, countries, and regions.
Independently manage different processes in the employee life cycle, including onboarding, offboarding, promotions, and various leaves, ensuring all necessary documentation is accurate and submitted to payroll promptly.
Administer relocation and transfer processes, including visa applications and payroll transfers where applicable.
Demonstrate a strong understanding and practical knowledge of company policies and procedures.
Exercise a high degree of autonomy in addressing queries from employees and management.
Administer various benefit plans in compliance with local regulations and company policies.
Utilize compliance expertise to safeguard the company against potential liabilities and risks.
Maintain compliance with regulations pertaining to all employment aspects within the assigned countries.
