Meet daily with each artist assigned to the project to ensure they understand their goals, answer questions, and track progress;Anticipate and flag any concerns regarding objectives and deadlines based on the artists' daily activities;Organize, manage, and attend meetings, transfers, and reviews with the VFX Supervisor and artists, ensuring that all notes are subsequently communicated to the artists;Organize the agenda for each daily meeting and take detailed notes throughout the meeting;Keep artists and supervisors informed of updates—client notes, plan changes, modifications—and assess the impact on ongoing work. Relay information to the producer if there are expected implications on the timeline;Evaluate and validate all work with VFX supervisors to ensure it is approved, and distribute notes to the relevant team.
The Education Outreach Specialist plays a vital role in connecting educational institutions, businesses, community organizations, and chambers of commerce. The focus is on aligning education with workforce training and meeting industry demands.Key Responsibilities:Build and maintain partnerships with local businesses, educational organizations, and community stakeholders to support Workforce Solutions initiatives.Leverage Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) resources to provide insights on training requirements and opportunities in high-demand occupations.Collaborate with local and state workforce agencies and employers to create pathways into Registered Apprenticeship (RA) programs, promoting these opportunities among local employers.Encourage collaboration between employers and Independent School Districts (ISDs) to enhance internship and mentorship offerings.Facilitate partnerships between ISDs and Technical or Community Colleges to develop clear educational pathways.Work alongside workforce system contractors to deliver employment services, including resume writing, interview preparation, soft skills training, and organizing career fairs.Manage a small caseload under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA).Reporting and Analysis:Prepare and submit quarterly performance reports to the Texas Workforce Commission using provided templates.Create customized labor market information reports for educational institutions as needed.Publish a calendar of events and activities to ensure accessibility for students and partners.Track and report monthly activities as required.Presentations and Workshops:Organize training workshops utilizing TWC resources for employment and education.Deliver presentations to business, education, and community groups, highlighting business trends, labor market insights, and career pathways.Promote Workforce Solutions programs and services.Engage in industry advisory committees to gather insights on recruitment challenges and necessary skill sets.
