Join us as an Indirect Purchasing Manager (m/f/d) and play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless procurement of indirect materials and services. You will be at the forefront of managing purchasing processes, from the initial processing of internal purchase requisitions to guaranteeing timely deliveries. Your methodical approach and exceptional communication skills will be vital in meeting internal demands efficiently and cost-effectively.
Your Daily Responsibilities:
Review and process internal purchase requisitions, transforming them into purchase orders.
Create, maintain, and manage purchase orders within the ERP system.
Solicit and compare quotations, engaging in operational negotiations with suppliers regarding pricing and delivery terms.
Communicate with suppliers to secure order confirmations, monitor delivery timelines, and address any discrepancies.
Track deliveries and follow up on any delays or inconsistencies.
Maintain supplier, pricing, and master data within the system.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (e.g., requesters, accounting, logistics) to ensure a seamless purchasing process.
Support the preparation of basic analyses and reports (e.g., open purchase orders, on-time delivery performance).
Qualifications
What You Bring to Our Team:
A completed commercial education or a comparable qualification.
Experience ranging from initial exposure to several years in operational purchasing, preferably in indirect procurement.
Proficient in utilizing ERP systems and MS Office, particularly Excel.
A structured, reliable, and independent working style with keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, paired with a friendly and service-oriented approach when interacting with internal and external partners.
Foundational negotiation skills and a solid understanding of costs and processes.
Fluency in German and good command of English.
