RequirementsWhat You Bring to the Team:Strong background in systems design and architecture, preferably within defense and aerospace sectors. Demonstrated experience as a Solution Architect or System Architect, ideally in a defense-oriented domain. Familiarity with architecture frameworks and tools (e.g., SPARX EA) and modeling standards. Experience with the NATO Architecture Framework (NAFv4) and German defense architecture methodologies like ADMBw is highly desirable. A university degree in a relevant field is preferred.

Your Mission

In the role of Solution Architect, you will spearhead the development of integrated system designs for our unmanned platforms, specifically tailored for demanding defense and security settings. Your responsibilities will encompass the design, evaluation, and development of comprehensive solutions that harmonize business requirements with technical excellence, security standards, scalability, and cost-effectiveness. You will ensure that our solutions are robust, scalable, and mission-ready.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate the architecture and design of ISR-focused aerial and other unmanned systems based on customer requirements, operational scenarios, and platform capabilities.

  • Define and drive system-level solutions in alignment with military standards and interoperability requirements (e.g., NATO, BAAINBw).

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with solution management, product management, software, and development teams to ensure technical coherence and mission effectiveness.

  • Interface directly with internal and external stakeholders including defense customers, government bodies, and integration partners.

  • Produce and maintain system models, architecture views, and documentation utilizing tools such as SPARX EA.

  • Ensure compliance with pertinent frameworks and support certification and qualification processes.

  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of our systems engineering practices.
