Key ResponsibilitiesSet up Device Under Test (DUT) system test benches for functional acceptance testing. Effectively utilize standard test equipment such as oscilloscopes, power analyzers, and multimeters. Troubleshoot and document electronic functional failures. Conduct wire harness assembly, including crimping and soldering tasks. Interpret electrical schematics and vehicle harness diagrams accurately. Fabricate special test equipment to support automotive component validation. Basic understanding of networking and system architecture routing. Proficient in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Physically capable of lifting heavy equipment. Assist with shipping, receiving, and packaging tasks.

The Infotainment Lab Technician role is based in Vancouver, British Columbia. This position supports the development and testing of next-generation automotive infotainment systems by working directly in the lab environment. The technician plays a crucial part in ensuring the lab operates efficiently and that teams have what they need to deliver dependable, innovative technology.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assemble both mechanical and electrical components for lab projects
  • Build and install vehicle wiring harnesses
  • Handle bench-level soldering and rework tasks
  • Create and maintain test bucks to support software validation
  • Oversee inventory control and manage the distribution of test equipment
  • Maintain and provide support for lab infrastructure
