Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:Serve as the initial IT support contact for local, remote, and mobile employees by diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and system-related issues. Troubleshoot and rectify problems across Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems. Provision and configure laptops, desktops, mobile devices, phones, and voicemail services. Create, maintain, and deploy system images for Windows and macOS. Manage user accounts, permissions, and access in both Active Directory and Linux environments. Ensure accurate tracking of hardware, software, and licensing inventories. Document solutions and procedures within the IT knowledge base. Administer and support the IT service management (ITSM) system. Support office technologies, including printers, scanners, and workstations. Assist in the onboarding and offboarding processes, as well as providing IT support for interns. Collaborate with the IT team on infrastructure, server, and network support. Participate in occasional after-hours or on-call support as necessary. Required Qualifications:Active Secret security clearance (U. S. citizenship required). Hands-on experience in desktop or helpdesk IT support roles. Strong skills in troubleshooting and customer service. Experience with Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems. Familiarity with Active Directory user administration. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications:3+ years of experience in IT support or helpdesk environments. Experience with engineering and business applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, MATLAB, Visual Studio, VMware). Experience supporting both Dell and Apple hardware. Intermediate skills in Active Directory (users, groups, printers, resources). IT certifications such as Network+, Security+, or Linux+. Excellent documentation, organization, and time management abilities.
