Requirements: Must have an Honorable Discharge from military service. Possess a valid Driver's License from any state with a clean driving record. Previous experience in a technical or mechanical field is essential. Willingness to undergo and successfully pass drug screenings and background checks is required.

Join Kia South Atlanta as a Kia Certified Service Technician, a rewarding opportunity specifically designed for skilled military Veterans. In partnership with Kia America, Inc., we proudly present the Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP), aiming to empower Veterans to kickstart a fulfilling automotive career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair various Kia vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, brakes, HVAC, and electrical components.
  • Accurately complete repair orders and warranty requests following established Kia and retailer protocols.
  • Conduct test drives and utilize Kia diagnostic strategies, special equipment, and tools for effective analysis and repairs.
  • Perform services, diagnostics, and repairs efficiently while maintaining clear communication with the shop foreman and service advisor to enhance customer satisfaction.
