Role Overview: Contract Recruiter
This contract position is based in Salt Lake City and requires in-office presence five days a week. The Recruiter will work across the full hiring process, from sourcing and screening through to offer acceptance, always aiming for a positive candidate experience.
Why This Role Matters
Rho’s People Operations team is small and nimble. To meet growing hiring needs, the team is adding a Contract Recruiter with a broad generalist background, especially in technology, sales, and leadership searches. The focus is on supporting hiring for Rho’s US offices in New York, Salt Lake City, and San Francisco. This role will help expand the talent pool and strengthen the company’s ability to attract strong candidates as the organization grows.
What You Will Do
- Source and engage candidates for operational roles in Salt Lake City, including specialized areas like fraud, compliance, and financial operations.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of both active and passive candidates aligned with current and future hiring needs.
- Work closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and People Operations to understand requirements and shape sourcing strategies.
- Use data and market research to improve outreach and sourcing efforts.
- Experiment with creative sourcing methods beyond standard platforms.
- Keep candidate records up to date in the applicant tracking system and other sourcing tools.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience sourcing for hard-to-fill roles, especially in operational or risk/compliance functions.
- Comfort with sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, Gem, and experience with CRM or ATS platforms.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and responsiveness, with a sense of urgency.
- Ability to work independently and adapt quickly.
- Genuine interest in talent acquisition and belief in the value of great hires.
