Key Responsibilities:
· Execute high-level break-fix and preventative maintenance tasks. This includes observing equipment in operation to identify root causes of issues, disassembling devices to access and replace defective parts, inspecting components for quality, adjusting functional parts of machines and control instruments, and conducting performance tests on electrical and mechanical systems.
· Identify and procure necessary parts, supplies, and repair items, evaluating alternatives to improve cost-effectiveness and reliability.
· Perform maintenance independently, adhering to industry standards.
· Collaborate with the Planner Scheduler to optimize preventative maintenance protocols.
· Operate and set up various machining operations, including lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools for part fabrication and repair, including welding tasks as needed.
· Maintain compliance with 5S and housekeeping standards.
· Lead and engage in Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives, focusing on processes, outcomes, and cost-saving measures.
· Mentor junior technicians and provide leadership within project teams, participating in training and development activities.
· Troubleshoot complex control systems, resolving intricate software, hardware, and configuration challenges.
· Leverage predictive maintenance technologies to gather equipment performance data, observe trends, and make informed recommendations.
· Maintain accurate records and analyze data within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
· Facilitate on-the-job training and engage in self-study programs for professional growth.
· Adhere to all safety policies, regulations, and guidelines, ensuring situational awareness and identifying unsafe behaviors and conditions.
