About Us

At eqltech, we are dedicated to revolutionizing the financial infrastructure supporting the $900B US Public Education budget. Our innovative solutions include a charge card, reimbursement engine, and vendor marketplace designed to empower families with access to Education Savings Account (ESA) funds, averaging $7.5k per child annually. With the backing of $16M from prominent venture capitalists, we are committed to transforming the education system, prioritizing parental control over their children's learning experiences.

Meet the Founding Team

You will be part of an in-person team where collaboration thrives.

  • Founders: Our founders possess extensive engineering backgrounds and have previously operated their own alternative school. One has held a Quant position at Goldman Sachs, while the other innovated a computer vision system for a leading smart warehousing company.
  • Core Team: Work alongside top talent, including a founding engineer with AI research experience at MILA and Elon Musk’s SpaceX school, a Head of Risk from Mercury, Stripe, and Circle, and a Payments Engineer from Microsoft and Goldman Sachs.

Your Responsibilities

Reporting to one of the most experienced leaders in fintech risk, you will develop analytics and processes to ensure the safety and scalability of the ESA card program.

  • Transaction Monitoring: Analyze charge card transactions to identify patterns of ineligible spending and emerging risks in real-time.
  • AI Automation: Design and implement AI-assisted workflows to streamline compliance and reduce manual intervention.
  • Credit Cycle Management: Underwrite and oversee a unique charge card portfolio that aligns with the cyclical nature of state fund disbursements.
  • SQL Analysis: Execute complex SQL queries to derive insights from raw data.
