Role Overview

The Staff Product Engineer role at Fever is broad and hands-on. Projects often span multiple frameworks and technical specialties. Most work involves Python-based services and APIs, relational and real-time databases, data warehouses, and SQL. The team also manages event-driven or distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, containers, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools. Some projects may include AI APIs, LLM-based workflows, retrieval patterns, and automation tools.

Preferred Experience

  • Building or maintaining internal platforms, operational tools, or backend systems with a product focus
  • Working with Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI
  • Using PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Tinybird, Redis, and developing SQL-heavy applications
  • Designing or operating event-driven architectures or messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
  • Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, or similar infrastructure stacks
  • Implementing observability and monitoring solutions
  • Exposure to AI-driven product development, LLM integrations, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), or workflow automation
  • Leading new initiatives or working in areas with undefined problems
  • Taking ownership of complex projects that deliver significant impact
