The Knitting Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality of knitted garments throughout the entire production process. This position is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and correcting any production defects, ensuring that all articles meet the company's quality standards and technical specifications.
Main Responsibilities:
Identify defects in knitted garments by determining the underlying causes (e.g., yarn tension, machine settings, sewing errors, yarn defects).
Conduct measurements to ensure garments meet specified dimensions.
Detect issues related to weaving, stitching, dimensional tolerances, fabric hand, stitch regularity, and aesthetic aspects.
Verify compliance of garments with the brand's quality standards.
Compile quality control reports and document any non-conformities.
Support prototype and sample development by providing technical feedback.
