Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with 7+ years of relevant experience. Proven expertise in DSP implementation for embedded systems and software-defined radios, showcasing a strong technical foundation. Proficient in programming languages such as Python and MATLAB; familiarity with CUDA or GPU-accelerated frameworks like cuSignal is advantageous. Experience with embedded devices, including FPGA, Nvidia Jetson, and Software Defined Radios, demonstrating hands-on technical skills. Deep understanding of Modeling and Simulation of RF systems, particularly in Radar and SAR applications. Knowledgeable in deep learning algorithms, with experience in ML frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch being a plus. Familiarity with wireless communication standards (Bluetooth, 3G/4G/5G, Wi-Fi, SINCGARS, MUOS, etc.). Exceptional multitasking abilities, with experience managing multiple projects and leading larger teams for extensive programs. A collaborative team player who is equally comfortable working independently based on program requirements. Prior experience with Electronic Warfare systems is a distinct advantage.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Lead a team of DSP engineers in conducting trade studies and optimizing signal processing and machine learning algorithms for implementation on FPGAs and GPUs.
Collaborate with a diverse team of software and hardware engineers to create software-defined radios; guide the DSP team in their interactions with software and hardware teams, focusing on the integration of DSP techniques into software and firmware.
Design and implement innovative algorithms for RADAR systems that enhance operational capabilities.
Develop Modeling and Simulation (M&S) code for RADAR techniques and conduct data analysis, including Hardware-in-the-Loop / Software-in-the-Loop (HIL/SIL) testing.
Engage in laboratory and field testing of RF systems and techniques, ensuring reliability and effectiveness.
Contribute to the evolution of RF systems into deployable products that meet military standards.
