- Follow Bombardier General Work Instructions for Factory, Shop, and Hanger roles.
- Adhere to environmental health and safety policies, actively participate in 5-S activities, and ensure work is conducted safely and efficiently.
- Document and perform tasks as outlined in relevant manuals and regulations.
- Conduct inspections of engines and/or Auxiliary Power Units (APUs), as well as associated aircraft systems, to identify damage, defects, corrosion, or wear, ensuring compliance with maintenance manuals.
- Interpret maintenance logs and discrepancies to troubleshoot and determine corrective actions necessary for returning aircraft to airworthy status.
- Advise on the replacement, repair, or modification of aircraft engines/APUs based on inspection findings.
- Execute installation, removal, or modifications of turbine engines/APUs, systems, or components, adhering to design specifications and technical publications.
- Repair worn or defective parts using hand tools, gauges, and testing equipment.
- Research and interpret technical manuals to perform inspections and repairs effectively.
- Assist in operational checks and functional tests of engines/APUs and related systems.
- Support the installation, removal, or modification of aircraft structures and systems as per engineering orders and technical documents.
- Verify completed maintenance work to ensure compliance with standards and readiness for operation.
- Collaborate with colleagues on general aircraft maintenance tasks within areas of expertise.
- Support Aviation Maintenance Technicians in operating ground support equipment like power units and hydraulic mules.
- Assist in conducting complete engine runs.
- Operate ground support equipment proficiently.
- Help with off-aircraft component repairs and perform mechanical/electrical removals and installations.
- Take on additional duties as assigned.
