Qualifications
Key ResponsibilitiesFabricate, route, and install intricate wiring harnesses and cable assemblies for telescopes and observatory systems. Interpret and analyze electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings. Execute panel wiring, grounding, and termination work to ensure high reliability standards. Conduct electrical checkout, functional testing, and validation of assembled systems. Diagnose wiring, signal integrity, and connection issues utilizing oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers. Perform soldering (through-hole and surface mount), crimping, staking, splicing, and strain relief. Implement harnessing best practices, including shielding, impedance control, and vibration mitigation. Maintain exceptional workmanship that complies with aerospace and high-performance motorsport wiring standards. Collaborate closely with engineers to facilitate prototyping, integration, and troubleshooting processes. Basic QualificationsMinimum of 5 years of experience as an electrical technician, wire harness fabricator, or similar hands-on role in aerospace, motorsport, industrial automation, or related fields. Proficient in reading and working from electrical schematics and harness drawings. Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
