As a Learning & Development Partner at Lightspeed, you will serve as a consultant and collaborator with our leaders and People Business Partners (PBPs). This role requires a high level of autonomy and sound judgment. Your primary focus will be on delivering impactful and quantifiable capability-building programs tailored for leadership audiences. You will facilitate leadership development initiatives for our leaders, leveraging your HR expertise to identify performance gaps, craft and implement customized leadership and capability solutions, and assess their effectiveness to drive measurable business outcomes. Additionally, you will provide personalized support and guidance to PBPs and leaders on Talent & Capability initiatives such as Talent Cycles and Engagement Survey Action Planning.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Consulting & Partnership: Build trusted advisor relationships with PBPs and leadership to deeply understand business priorities, evaluate talent development needs, and offer innovative solutions to assist leaders and PBPs in T&C initiatives.
  • Program Ownership & Design: Take ownership of strategic learning and enablement plans based on business requirements, crafting unique learning experiences when standard solutions fall short, and modifying enablement and communication plans as needed.
  • Leadership Development: Oversee the comprehensive programming for our senior leaders, including designing and leading high-stakes learning sessions such as quarterly workshops, coaching, or training tailored for our Directors/Senior Directors and Senior Leadership Team.
  • Stakeholder Influence: Utilize your expertise to influence and guide key stakeholders and partners, informing strategic decisions regarding talent and capability priorities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work collaboratively with PBPs, regional leaders, and other divisions within the People & Culture organization (e.g., Total Rewards, TSI, People Ops) to ensure cohesive talent solutions and operational efficiency.
