Qualifications

A keen interest in new ICT technologies, capable of translating them into practical and effective solutions. Strong analytical skills, persuasive abilities, vision, and the capacity to think beyond day-to-day tasks. You possess confidence grounded in professional expertise. Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English.

What will you be doing?
As part of a dedicated team of system administrators, you will be at the forefront of developing and managing the Linux environment, particularly focusing on High Performance clusters. This infrastructure is crucial for the daily operations of NLR colleagues. Your contributions will span across architecture, design, implementation, and maintenance of NLR systems. You will lead project initiatives for new development trajectories, guiding them from analysis through design, implementation, and into operational use. Your role is essential in ensuring the functionality, currency, security, and efficiency of the Linux environment within the NLR data center. This position offers a dynamic work environment where no two days are the same. You will work from our Amsterdam office with the option to work partially from home.
