The Opportunity:
As a Maintenance Planner, you will play a crucial role within our Maintenance Operations function. Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate all planned, preventative, and corrective maintenance activities on-site. You will collaborate closely with Technicians, Engineers, Vendors, and cross-functional partners to ensure that maintenance tasks are scheduled, adequately resourced, and executed in alignment with GMP standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and schedule all maintenance activities utilizing the site CMMS, including reactive, preventative, and calibration tasks.
Facilitate daily and weekly planning meetings to prioritize work orders and ensure maintenance plans are accurate and effective.
Work in collaboration with the Maintenance Operations Manager and all site departments to prepare jobs for safe and efficient execution.
Forecast maintenance workloads, identify resource needs, and coordinate vendor activities for specialized tasks.
Manage the maintenance notification backlog within the CMMS, ensuring data accuracy and audit readiness.
Review work requests, define scopes, inspect equipment, and estimate labor, materials, tools, and parts for planned work.
Plan and assist in the execution of annual maintenance shutdowns.
Support investigations into equipment failures and contribute to root cause analysis efforts.
Complete deviations, CAPAs, and change controls as necessary.
Develop and maintain standard job plans, maintenance procedures, and scheduling processes.
Establish and report on maintenance KPIs to support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives.
Collaborate with Stores and Purchasing to ensure required materials and parts are available for maintenance activities.
