Qualifications
Responsibilities:Support manufacturing objectives through development, implementation, and maintenance of area/product-specific work instructions, time studies, PFMEAs, preventative maintenance, and other standard work and lean production tools. Oversee capital projects aimed at improving production processes, equipment, and tooling. Conduct area capacity analyses to ensure processes and equipment provide optimal cost, quality, and safety. Collaborate with engineers, manufacturing team members, designers, suppliers, tool builders, and associates to facilitate new product launches through the PDL system. Prepare cost justifications, quotes, and proposals for new products, equipment, and capital projects. Write and maintain product-specific CAM programs for area equipment and document best practices while maintaining an organized program database. Create controlled documents for program-specific operator visuals and instructions as needed. Provide program time estimates and project quoting assistance for Studio 431 and Applications work. Criteria for Success:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience. Advanced knowledge of SolidWorks CAD software. Experience in metal fabrication and cellular manufacturing, along with a foundational understanding of materials used in site furniture such as steel, concrete, aluminum, wood, and plastics.
