What You’ll NeedDegree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field. Extensive experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably within the aerospace, defense, or high-precision sectors. Minimum 3 years of experience in process optimization, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement methodologies. Demonstrated ability to work with production data, KPIs, statistical tools, and performance dashboards. Expertise in root cause analysis and structured problem-solving techniques. Hands-on mindset with the capability to engage directly on the shop floor, converting theoretical concepts into practical enhancements. Strong communication skills and proficiency in technical documentation. Experience with ERP or MES systems is advantageous.

What You’ll Do

  • Assume ownership of manufacturing processes on the production floor and drive continuous improvements using real performance data.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as cycle time, scrap rate, yield, and equipment performance, translating insights into actionable improvements.
  • Identify bottlenecks and variability within processes and implement structured enhancements to boost stability and throughput.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for production deviations and quality concerns, ensuring that corrective actions are effective and sustainable.
  • Refine workflows, layouts, and work instructions to elevate efficiency and repeatability.
  • Facilitate the introduction of new products by defining robust, production-ready processes and ensuring a smooth ramp-up.
  • Collaborate closely with operators, quality assurance, and engineering teams to foster a culture of operational excellence and data transparency.
