We are thrilled to announce an opening for a Mechanical Project Manager to join our Edmonton-based Buildings engineering team. In this pivotal role, you will utilize your extensive experience (minimum of 15 years) to contribute to a well-established yet expanding mechanical team. You will lead projects across a variety of sectors including residential, commercial, industrial, institutional, educational, governmental, healthcare, and recreational facilities while nurturing client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
- Enhance the mechanical practice in Edmonton, leveraging your prior experience and the expertise from other CIMA+ locations.
- Engage directly with clients to comprehend project requirements and sustain robust business relationships.
- Participate in business development initiatives throughout Alberta.
- As the team expands, contribute to the development of technical expertise within the mechanical engineering group to meet client needs.
- Analyze and resolve complex challenges, identify suitable work methods and guidelines, and coordinate project completion efforts.
- Support in supervising and managing mechanical engineering team members, including engineers, technicians, and support staff.
- Evaluate technical work, assign responsibilities, and provide clear directives.
- Advise on the selection of new employees during recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and compensation management.
- Collaborate with the team to prepare and respond to proposals effectively.
