What You Will Do: Develop and optimize advanced computer vision algorithms for our autonomous gun turret, concentrating on real-time detection, tracking, and classification of drones. Design and implement robust machine learning models capable of functioning in resource-limited environments while ensuring high accuracy and reliability. Work in close collaboration with electrical engineers to seamlessly integrate computer vision systems into the turret's hardware architecture. Conduct extensive testing and validation of computer vision algorithms across a variety of scenarios to guarantee robustness and performance under diverse environmental conditions. Contribute to the enhancement of the prototype turret into a military-grade system and support the development of variants for different weapon systems and engagement ranges. What You Will Need: A profound passion for machine learning, computer vision, and robotics, demonstrated through early career exploration in these fields. A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline, with a strong emphasis on machine learning and computer vision. 4-7 years of experience in machine learning-based computer vision, preferably within the robotics domain. A proven history of developing and deploying computer vision systems, particularly in real-time or safety-critical applications. Strong proficiency in Python and C++, with experience in machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or equivalents. Familiarity with embedded systems and the integration of computer vision algorithms into hardware. Knowledge of various sensors and their application in computer vision contexts.
