The successful candidate will:Provide hands-on technical support for a mission-critical operator UI, ensuring correct behavior, performance, and usability during live operations. Troubleshoot UI-related issues, focusing on data accuracy, latency, state synchronization, and operator workflows. Collaborate directly with government operators to diagnose issues, clarify system behavior, and propose mitigations or workarounds. Act as a technical escalation point during operational anomalies or incidents. Assist in the deployment, configuration, and integration of the entire software stack, which includes the UI, backend services, messaging, and supporting infrastructure. Support system integration testing, operational readiness testing, and validation activities. Engage in release verification, smoke testing, and post-deployment validation. Monitor system health, logs, metrics, and alerts to identify and diagnose issues across the stack. Facilitate investigation of operational issues and anomalies, including root cause analysis. Coordinate with development, systems, and infrastructure teams to resolve issues efficiently. Document operational issues, resolutions, and lessons learned to enhance system reliability and operator experience.

We are currently on the lookout for a Mission Operations Support Engineer to deliver in-depth technical support for a mission-critical software system utilized by government operators. This role emphasizes the assurance of dependable and effective operation of a sophisticated UI-driven system while also facilitating deployment, integration, testing, and monitoring of the complete software stack.

The ideal candidate will have a strong affinity for operations, possess sound technical judgment, and excel at bridging the communication between operators and engineering teams in high-stakes environments.

This position predominantly provides operational support during business hours and requires close collaboration with engineering, systems, and program teams.
