Internship Overview

The Modeling & Simulation Software Engineering Intern will join the software team in Los Angeles, CA for Fall 2026. This paid internship runs for approximately 16 weeks, from September through December.

What You Will Do

  • Develop high-performance modeling and simulation code for 6DOF Software in the Loop (SITL) simulations using Julia
  • Work closely with teams in Flight Software, HMI, and Flight Sciences to meet project requirements
  • Create software models based on hardware specifications and physics principles
  • Validate simulation models against real-world data to ensure accuracy

Collaboration

This role involves frequent collaboration with technical teams and stakeholders to ensure simulation outcomes align with project goals.
