Required Experience:Minimum of 5 years managing a network team of engineers and administrators. Advanced proficiency with Sniffer and related analysis tools for troubleshooting network application performance issues. Possession of Cisco network certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCSP is highly desirable. In-depth understanding of structured copper and fiber cabling infrastructure standards. Extensive knowledge of VPNs and MPLS networks management. Expertise in TCP/IP protocol stacks, Ethernet, FCoE, IPS/IDS, DNS, DHCP, web security, VPN, and NAC. Hands-on experience with Cisco IOS, including configuration of routers, switches, and firewalls. Strong background in Cisco network design and implementation within a highly virtualized enterprise environment. Collaboration with facilities engineering experts for planning and designing network infrastructures.

As a Network Team Lead, you will take charge of the strategic planning, design, implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of our sophisticated network and telephony infrastructure. This pivotal role not only entails providing technical leadership but also managing a dedicated team of network engineers and administrators.

The ideal candidate will possess a robust technical foundation across a broad spectrum of network and telephony principles, complemented by hands-on experience. Familiarity with industry best practices for enterprise landscapes is essential.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Leading and guiding team members towards effective problem resolution in a 24x7x365 network environment.
  • Overseeing operational and proactive monitoring of our corporate WAN/LAN/SAN/MPLS/IPSec/Wireless networks.
  • Conducting capacity planning to analyze bandwidth requirements across enterprise sites and developing relevant models.
  • Executing sound project management methodologies to manage resource workloads and budgeting.
  • Designing, engineering, implementing, and managing complex networks and configurations within a global, multi-site enterprise setting.
  • Ensuring disaster recovery plans are tested and technical criteria are met.
  • Maintaining comprehensive documentation of all specifications, systems, and procedures.
  • Developing and enforcing processes, procedures, and standards.
  • Analyzing network activity to identify and rectify systematic errors, proposing enhancements for improved availability and performance.
  • Providing hands-on support for production switches, routers, load balancers, IPS, firewalls, and VPNs as needed.
  • Implementing and managing site-to-site VPNs and remote client VPN access.
  • Enforcing network standards to guide global hardware and software acquisitions.
  • Overseeing the corporate VoIP and collaboration suite.
  • Managing contracts related to hardware, software, and telecommunications maintenance.
  • Participating in the formulation of annual budgets and project portfolios.
  • Providing leadership in perimeter security, including establishing access controls, change management, vulnerability testing, and incident management.
