Qualifications
Responsibilities:Lead the investigation and resolution of software and electrical integration challenges between Waymo and OEM systems. Collaborate with system owners and subject matter experts within Waymo and OEMs to define integration risk mitigation strategies, troubleshoot integration issues, and manage change deployment. Contribute to the development of Waymo's platform integration strategy, processes, and tools. Provide expert onsite support at manufacturing, field service, and testing facilities during initial program phases. Qualifications:Possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Have over 5 years of experience with prototype software and electrical automotive systems. Demonstrate hands-on troubleshooting expertise with software and electrical automotive systems and tools. Exhibit a broad knowledge base in electrical engineering, computer science, and mechanical engineering, with a quick learning ability on new subjects. Preferred Qualifications:Proven experience transitioning new automotive platforms from prototype to mass production. Familiarity with an object-oriented scripting language (e.g., Python). Knowledge of modern passenger vehicle control systems. Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical teams for problem-solving.
