Familiarity with Oracle 19c and associated tools and technologies. Strong knowledge of database security, backup/recovery techniques, and disaster recovery planning. Proficient in SQL and PL/SQL scripting. Experience with Linux and Unix operating systems. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and capability to work independently or collaboratively. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with various stakeholders and documentation of processes.

The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in database management, adeptly overseeing the entire database lifecycle which includes installation, configuration, upgrades, and ongoing monitoring of Oracle databases.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle database software.
- Conduct database tuning, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting to guarantee optimal performance.
- Manage database security by establishing and maintaining roles, privileges, and user accounts.
- Execute regular database backups and recovery operations to uphold data integrity and availability.
- Formulate and uphold database disaster recovery strategies and procedures.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure database modifications meet business requirements.
- Monitor and manage database storage, ensuring efficient utilization and forecasting future capacity needs.
- Maintain compliance with database-related policies, procedures, and best practices.
