Role overview
The Payments Data Analyst serves as the main contact for Payments Business Intelligence at Everfield. This role connects the Payments organization with the broader Business Intelligence team, translating complex payments data into clear, actionable insights that inform business decisions.
Collaboration is a key part of the job. The analyst works closely with Payment Service Providers, different Business Units, and senior leaders such as Payments Leads, Head of Operations, Head of Commercial, and CTO. Together with two Data Engineers, the analyst helps build and maintain data pipelines, managing the process from raw payments data to business intelligence outputs.
The analyst delivers insights to stakeholders across Everfield, including the CEO, CFO, COO, Payments leadership, and portfolio companies. The team focuses on actionable insights, automated reporting, deep analysis, and continuous improvement of data quality. The technology stack includes Azure Synapse for data ingestion, Databricks for transformation, Power BI for visualization, and SQL for analytics.
This position offers growth potential as Everfield plans to expand from 40 to about 80 portfolio companies over the next four years. As the company grows, the BI team’s influence and the analyst’s responsibilities will also increase.
What you will do
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document reporting requirements.
- Develop feature roadmaps and communication plans to keep projects aligned with business goals.
- Identify ways to improve portfolio-level data capture and recommend new variables or methods.
Location
This position is based in the Netherlands (Amsterdam) or can be performed remotely.
