About the Role:
- The Physical Therapy Technician is a vital member of our healthcare team, working under the direct supervision of licensed Physical or Occupational Therapists.
- You'll be responsible for adhering to state regulations and company policies to ensure top-notch patient care.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential in this role to support our patients effectively.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Setting up treatment areas and preparing equipment for patient use.
- Assisting and observing patients as they perform prescribed therapy exercises and documenting their responses.
- Administering basic treatments such as applying ice packs and heat pads as directed.
- Maintaining a clean and sanitized environment, including equipment and therapy areas.
- Handling administrative tasks like patient intake, answering calls, and scheduling appointments.
- Executing other duties as assigned to support our team.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and multitasking skills are a must.
- Proficiency in computer usage and adaptability to new software.
