Position Overview
As a Power Electronics Test Engineer at Astranis, you will play a critical role in developing, designing, and implementing testing systems for our spacecraft's custom electronics. Your expertise will ensure that our suite of power designs performs optimally across various environments, guaranteeing mission success in orbit.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop automated hardware and software solutions to validate and test electronic hardware.
- Create PCBA designs to interface seamlessly with flight hardware.
- Utilize Python to write software that controls bench equipment, devices under test, and other testing hardware.
- Collaborate closely with the design team, providing insights and feedback throughout the qualification and acceptance process.
- Participate in recruitment efforts to expand our growing team.
