At least 5 years of experience applying agile methodologies throughout the system development life cycle. Proven expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices and tools. Strong knowledge of Kubernetes.

Job Description
As the DevSecOps Lead Engineer, you will take on a pivotal role, setting the standard and inspiring the DevSecOps team to deliver exceptional results for our clients. You’ll serve as a thought leader in solutions architecture, focusing on the automated deployment of our DevSecOps toolkit within AWS Cloud environments. Embracing the Agile Mindset, you will unlock the potential of every team member. A robust understanding of Kubernetes is essential. Cybersecurity principles must be integral to each phase of the Software Delivery Lifecycle, and you will facilitate this adherence to ensure compliance with ATO (Authority to Operate) standards within client networks.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategic planning and design for all backlog tasks (e.g., system architecture with AWS infrastructure, application enhancements, feature requests, and bug resolutions).
  • Oversee the execution of tasks in the backlog.
  • Guide and mentor fellow DevSecOps engineers, drawing inspiration from the Agile Manifesto.
  • Verify that security controls are implemented effectively (e.g., no regressions) with each deployment.
  • Maintain the Body of Evidence (BOE) updated with every release.

Here's what you need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics with at least 5 years of experience as an engineering lead, or 10 years of experience in the absence of a degree.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience utilizing agile methodologies in the system development life cycle.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles and tools.
