About the Role
We are looking for enthusiastic and detail-oriented Production Associates to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this position, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of energy by working directly on our production assembly lines to create our state-of-the-art battery storage systems.
Your primary responsibilities will include mechanical assembly of products, diligently adhering to work instructions, and ensuring that each unit meets our stringent quality standards. This hands-on, physically engaging role demands reliability, efficiency, and a strong commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate production machinery and equipment while maintaining consistent output across all products.
Assemble battery systems and sub-assemblies on the manufacturing production line, following detailed Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Conduct visual inspections of parts and finished products to identify defects or inconsistencies, ensuring all items adhere to quality standards before proceeding.
Load and unload materials onto the production line while assisting with kitting job kits and organizing components for a seamless workflow.
Maintain a clean, well-organized, and safe workstation in alignment with 5S standards and adhere to all safety protocols, including the consistent use of required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and communicate suggestions to the team.
Demonstrate flexibility to change shifts and work overtime as necessary to support Base-Power's growth.
Qualifications
Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, construction, or a warehouse environment is preferred; familiarity with hand and power tools is advantageous. A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.
Ability to stand or walk for the duration of a shift and lift 50–70 lbs comfortably, with a willingness to perform repetitive tasks.
