Profile Technician

Join our dynamic team at Highwood USA as a Profile Technician, where you'll thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Your role will involve overseeing the entire manufacturing process of custom profiles, from raw material management to quality assurance and final packaging of the products.


Key Responsibilities

  • Supply appropriate materials in the correct quantities to production lines.

  • Initiate and complete line and equipment start-ups efficiently.

  • Operate profile and compound lines according to established procedures.

  • Conduct color and tool changeovers with precision.

  • Perform regular quality checks and maintain an understanding of quality specifications.

  • Ensure product color and pattern accuracy against quality control standards.

  • Make necessary adjustments to production lines to meet customer specifications and enhance productivity.

  • Maintain equipment through regular preventive maintenance tasks.

  • Conduct basic maintenance including inspections, care, and cleaning of equipment.

  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives and teamwork.

  • Keep accurate documentation of production metrics, scrap, and operational conditions.

  • Utilize basic computer skills for operational tasks.

  • Operate forklifts as needed.

  • Troubleshoot equipment and process-related issues.

  • Package, band, and wrap finished products efficiently.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
