Your role will involve overseeing the entire manufacturing process of custom profiles, from raw material management to quality assurance and final packaging of the products.
Key Responsibilities
Supply appropriate materials in the correct quantities to production lines.
Initiate and complete line and equipment start-ups efficiently.
Operate profile and compound lines according to established procedures.
Conduct color and tool changeovers with precision.
Perform regular quality checks and maintain an understanding of quality specifications.
Ensure product color and pattern accuracy against quality control standards.
Make necessary adjustments to production lines to meet customer specifications and enhance productivity.
Maintain equipment through regular preventive maintenance tasks.
Conduct basic maintenance including inspections, care, and cleaning of equipment.
Engage in continuous improvement initiatives and teamwork.
Keep accurate documentation of production metrics, scrap, and operational conditions.
Utilize basic computer skills for operational tasks.
Operate forklifts as needed.
Troubleshoot equipment and process-related issues.
Package, band, and wrap finished products efficiently.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Perform additional tasks as assigned.
