Candidates will be expected to work from our client office or site three days a week.MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLEThe Project Planner will manage work packages and projects of varying scales and complexities. Depending on the program, these work packages may range in size, with the Planner responsible for scheduling multiple smaller projects or a single large-scale project. The Planner will lead the planning efforts for multiple unrelated projects or a single highly complex project within the program. They will effectively manage relationships among time, cost, risk, changes, reporting, and scope, ensuring the creation and maintenance of comprehensive schedules that provide clients with accurate data to inform management decisions. The Planner plays a crucial role in achieving client objectives and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESLead planning efforts, mentoring junior planning professionals on high-value projects or programs.Create, develop, and maintain project schedules that align with complex project requirements while managing risks.Ensure adherence to NEC or FIDIC contract processes for schedule data management and submissions.Collaborate with the project team to produce status reports that keep management informed of project progress.Work with senior team members to oversee daily management, staffing, and implementation of Integrated Project Controls standards and processes.Enhance efficiency and clarity around project objectives.Engage with the project team to define scope, develop detailed schedules, and track cost variations from the original plan.Assist project managers in scheduling work and coordinating assignments.Evaluate project schedule progress and performance, identifying emerging challenges.Analyze float, critical paths, and constraints to assess the impact of approved changes or delays, recommending alternative recovery strategies.Conduct project progress reviews.Consolidate multiple project schedules into an Integrated Master Schedule.
