Job Summary
The Project Controls Manager will play a pivotal role in the successful implementation, training, and auditing of all project controls functions for large-scale construction projects. This position collaborates closely with the Project Management and Regional Operations teams to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget. Key responsibilities include supporting the Project Manager with all client-facing and internal reporting related to project controls, which encompass project kickoff, tracking, productivity monitoring, P6 updates, contract management, change order control, billing, forecasting, and closeout.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Project Management and corporate management teams, actively participating in regular project meetings. Collect information and prepare necessary reports and presentations.
- Identify and communicate design changes, scope alterations, and schedule delays, assessing potential impacts while participating in mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure that project controls team members engage effectively with engineering, procurement, contracts, and construction, adhering to safety and quality standards.
- Oversee the project baseline processes for cost, schedule, and progress, ensuring compliance with company standards and procedures.
