Your work will promote public awareness of programs, services, events, and initiatives designed for veterans and their families. You will be involved in the planning, development, and dissemination of digital content and communications materials across various platforms, ensuring information is timely, accurate, accessible, and aligned with the agency's objectives.Key Responsibilities:- Manage daily digital communications across the agency’s website, email, social media, and related digital channels.- Create, write, edit, and publish diverse digital content including graphics, videos, photographs, flyers, and other multimedia materials.- Develop public-facing communications to promote agency programs, services, campaigns, and special events.- Regularly update the agency website, ensuring all content is current, accurate, and user-friendly.- Oversee the production and distribution of the agency’s email newsletter and related digital communications.- Monitor and analyze digital communications metrics, preparing reports on performance, reach, and audience engagement.- Coordinate print and digital advertising related to agency initiatives and outreach.- Provide communications support for agency events, including promotional activities, on-site coverage, and post-event content generation.- Assist in the planning and execution of public programs, outreach events, and special initiatives.- Act as a liaison to communications partners, including City Hall press staff and external stakeholders as necessary.- Represent the agency at public events and community engagements.- Build and maintain relationships with Veteran Service Organizations, community groups, partner agencies, and other stakeholders.- Ensure compliance with language access standards for digital and print communications.- Support the development and execution of multimedia campaigns from concept to completion.- Perform additional duties as assigned.
